Hi people, I'm back.
Ok, time for me to update on my research for week 2. I chose the topic Sports with the aspect of football as I am a great fan of football.
The catergories we were supposed to find out about was newsgroups and discussion lists, electronic journals and magazines, mult-media sources and www sites.
For the newsgroups and discussion lists, I went into
http://www.footballforums.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=aa2828312cbc7de23163b0b3bd59898a&f=16 and this website provides a place
for football fans to share their insights and discussions of football happenings.
For the electronic journals and magazines, I found http://www.football365.co.uk/ which is a Uk based magazine which supplies mostly British footballing news and provides comprehensive match previews and reports in addition to fixtures and latest results.
For the mulit-media sources, I surfed the net and found http://liverpoolsite.blogspot.com/ which provides live streaming, live videos and audio podcasts for the football club Liverpool.
Last but not least, I went to http://www.skysports.com/ for the www site category. This website provides up to date information on the sports news around the world.
It was really interesting to found out that there are so many different categories for research and this will definitely be of help to me in the future, but for now I shall be able to delight in my findings for new websites that I can visit for football updates.
